The under 16 boys played the last round in the YYHL at Halifax. It was necessary to come in the top two teams to qualify for the playoffs. Following a foggy drive the sun came out and the first game against Bradford did not go well. The marking was not tight and despite some chances in the Bradford area, forwards Charlie Whitfield, Joe Shuttleworth and Nick Edwards could not put them away. Two strong strikes by Bradford could not be stopped by Simon Cockerill in goal and Thirsk went down 2-0. A game off and then came Wakefield, a team we had beaten before. Despite controlling mid field by Sam Gardiner and Patrick Winstanley a goal on the break saw Wakefield go 1-0 up. Thirsk then started to get some control on the game and had chances at shots and short corners but could not get an equaliser. The score remained the same to the final whistle. We then played Leeds Adel and from the start dominated the play. This soon led to a goal by Nick, a narrow angle goal from Charlie and well followed up short corner by Ben Scaling. 3-0 win and more confidence showing. We needed to win the last two games and hope other teams scores went in our favour to get a top two place. Sheffield were expected to be a difficult opposition as they had held Bradford to 0-0 draw, however Thirsk were on top from the off. Dan Lawson down the left and Ben down the right provided the width to constantly pressure the Sheffield defence. Two goals from Nick and one by Patrick sealed acomfortable 3-0 victory. One game to go, Driffield who we had lost to on two previous occasions. Again Thirsk controlled the game well with great defence from Dean Porter, Andrew McCann and Ben Irving pushed the play back into Driffields half. A strong pass into their D saw a deflection picked up by Joe and a strike into the goal. Driffield tried hard to come back but the defence held put and a 1-0 win finished the day. The last game of the day between Bradford and Wakefield would decide if Thirsk finished second; but it was not to be. Unfortunately they will not be in the playoffs in April. A disappointing result after great results earlier in the season and being beaten by the weather last time out keeping us in division 2! A special mention to Dick Edwards who umpired all the games and has done so on several of the fixtures. And of course the parents who drove and supported.
The U12 girls last league session of the season was played on 18th March.
The first match against Pocklington the girls took a while to get warmed up and despite several shots on goal by Annabel Hill and Sophie Corner, Thirsk were unable to get one in the back of the goal. Pocklington attacked the Thirsk defence and some great tackles from Anna Roberts and clearances from Ella Durkin resulted in the final scoreline of 0-0.
The second match against Huddersfield Thirsk picked the pace up and Lucy Williams had some great runs up the wing around several players, the girls worked the ball around the keeper and were rewarded with 3 goals by Annabel and two from Sophie. The final score was 5-0.
The third match against Doncaster Thirsk started strong, with some great passes and ball speed around the Doncaster defence. Some great tackles from Megan Allen and saves from Marrianne Morrice meant Doncaster were unable to score and the two cracking goals, assisted by Lucy and scored by Annabel and Sophie saw Thirsk win 2-0.
The fourth match against Wakefield Thirsk had to step up and there was some great play in the middle by Ella and some great tackles by Lucy and Emily Sykes. The girl’s persistance paid off and with a goal from Emily finished 1-0 up.
The last game against Ben Rhydding Thirsk played really well together, however Ben Rhydding were the stronger team and Thirsk had their first loss of the day.
Well done to all the girls that have played this season, it has been a pleasure coaching and watching how each player has improved.

Thirsk’s U12B Boys’ team were in Leeds on Sunday for the last round of Yorkshire Youth Hockey League matches for the 2011/12 season. The team consisted of Will Mitchell (Goalie), Josh Dale, Paddy Medley, William Wilson, Sam Winstanley, Ben McIntosh, Connor Watson and Johnathan Craske.
Match 1: Driffield vs Thirsk
The start of the day saw a last minute change to the format of the league, including the size of the pitches to be used, the order of play and match durations. This initially seemed to wrong-foot the boys in their first match against Driffield as they struggled to play in a much smaller pitch area. At times, Will, Paddy and Josh seemed to be under relentless pressure defending Thirsk’s D requiring Johnathan to run back to help defend on a number of occasions. Eventually, a clever pass from Paddy to Sam resulted in a period of play where Ben and Connor worked with Johnathan and Sam to get the ball into Driffield’s D on a number of occasions, making good use of play and crosses from the wing. Thirsk noticeably dominated Driffield’s area with pressure from Thirsk’s forwards lead to Driffield conceding a short corner. Thirsk worked the corner well with the ball finding Driffield’s net, but unfortunately, to the boys’ dismay the goal was disallowed. Despite more pressure on Driffield, Driffield managed to get the ball upfield to their forwards and against the run of play, out manoeuvered Paddy and Josh to beat Will the goalie to secure a 1-0 lead. Although Thirsk took the play back to Driffield’s area, they were not able to find the net and the final score remained Driffield 1, Thirsk 0.
Match 2: Thirsk vs Airedale
The next match saw Thirsk’s performance improve significantly. William came on for Ben and won a number of balls for Thirsk in the central midfield. Sam and Johnathan continued winning the left-wing and right-wing battles so that with William, a succession of powerful shots flew into the D for Connor. Unfortunately for Connor, the ball wasn’t quite finding the net with a number going just wide. Eventually persistence paid off and Connor was able to capitalise not once, but twice, to find the net for Thirsk. Final score Thirsk 2, Airedale 0.
Match 3: Thirsk vs Airedale
Without even a break, the boys unexpectedly found they were on again and this time playing a Rotherham side who had previously won their preceding two matches of the day. Thirsk kept their composure and took the game to Rotherham. A notably much faster game than played so far during the day, the midfield were called upon to get back and help Josh, Paddy and Will on a number of occasions. There were some tense moments when a concerted Rotherham attack looked as though it would result in Thirsk conceding a goal, however, Will made a number of outstanding saves which created some breathing space for the defence to re-organise themselves. Thirsk eventually got the ball out and Sam and Connor were unable to capitalise on some well fed balls. When the final whistle went, Thirsk couldn’t help but feel that they deserved a win due to the amount of attack oriented play and shots at the Rotherham goal. However, Josh, Will and Paddy had played their hearts out in keeping a clean sheet for Thirsk against a very attack oriented Rotherham. Final score Thirsk 0, Rotherham 0
Match 4: Thirsk vs Driffield
Playing Driffield for the second time in one day, the Thirsk boys were much more organised and took the game to Driffield. Ben undertook the sweeper role in place of Paddy and, with Josh, in the main, kept the Driffield players out of the Thirsk D. Thirsk were dominant in the crosses, entering Driffield’s D however, the forwards were unable to capitalise on these and the frustration, along with the heat, was starting to show. A break in play by Driffield resulted in Thirsk’s defence being overwhelmed before Thirsk’s forwards could get back and Driffield took the opportunity by scoring a goal. After some tireless running by Johnathan between attack and defence, Sam managed to once more feed a succession of balls to Connor and eventually the pressure resulted in Driffield conceding 4 successive short corners. Some frenetic activity resulted in a good opportunity whistling past William’s stick and into the side of the goal. Thirsk’s goal came with a quick feed coming in from Jonathan to Connor which he was able to convert. The final whistle came frustratingly quickly just as Thirsk were working up opportunities in Driffield’s D and the boys’ couldn’t help but rue the opportunities missed to clinch 3 points. Final score Driffield 1, Thirsk 1
Match 5: Thirsk vs Airedale
Thirsk were on the offensive from the start and won a short corner which was subsequently disallowed much to the Thirsk forwards’ frustrations. William took the ball down the right wing and delivered a number of crosses into the Airedale D which despite valiant attempts, Connor and Sam were unable to work into a goal. After some close play in mid-field, Ben took the ball down the right which found Sam and at long last, Sam got his goal, much to his delight and that of his team mates. When the whistle went shortly later, the boys were clearly relieved to get the win. Final score Thirsk 1 Airedale 0
The tally at the end of the day was 3 wins, 2 draws and 1 loss; in the main, Thirsk’s defence had a quiet day due to the strength of Thirsk’s midfield and attacking play, however, when called upon, Josh and Paddy kept calm and with Will, were quite robust in thwarting opposition forwards.
From an attacking perspective, the day can be summed up as a day of missed opportunities, due to the number of occasions that the ball would not find the opponents’ net.
Given the changing format of the day and in particular, little or no rest time between matches, all the boys gave a very good account of themselves and there are some firm foundations to build upon for next season.
The players’ man of the morning was Paddy and the Team Manager’s player of the morning was Sam.
On Sunday 18th March at Weetwood, Leeds, the final round of matches took place with Thirsk ‘A’ team playing in the top division and going for the title.
Harrogate were Thirsk’s first opponents, and were as usual a tough team to break down. Arthur Hunt and Harry Collinson in the centre worked hard gaining possession, but could not create many clear cut opportunities. James Houseman, and Alex Docherty in defence carefully contained their skillful players. Sam Bosomworth and Toby Hussel came on halfway through and helped gain two penalty corners, but still we could not score, and the game ended 0-0.
In the second game with Hull, we had a lot of early possession, and managed to open the scoring when Arthur’s pass to Oliver Houseman allowed him to penetrate the circle on the right, he slipped the ball back towards Arthur, but the ball found the net off the Hull defender’s leg. At 1-0 it looked like Thirsk would settle better, but in no time Hull equalized when a little hesitancy at the back allowed them a long range effort which beat Luke Brownlee in the Thirsk goal. Thirsk had to start again, and thanks to Sam, Thirsk managed to get a penalty corner, and Harry C fired home for a 2-1 lead, and it wasn’t long before Oliver wrapped things up with another burst into the circle from Harry Goodall’s through ball, and he then lifted the ball into the roof of the net, a great 3-1 win.
Ben Rhydding were next up, in a most open encounter. Thirsk opened the scoring with Harry C latching onto a rebounded effort from Arthur. Ben Rhydding played some nice hockey and James, Sam, and Alex all made some important tackles, and from one of Sam’s tackles on the left a great counter attack developed, with Oliver putting away Toby’s cross. Thirsk made it 3-0 when Harry G was able to sprint clear on the right, and neatly beat the goalkeeper. Thirsk did have to do a lot of defending as Ben Rhydding did not give up, and Luke made several confident saves to keep them out. But Thirsk wrapped up a 4-0 win when Harry C spotted the chance to burst into the circle from a long corner, and squeeze the ball in at the near post.
The final game of the league season was with Bradford, and with all the other games played, Thirsk now knew that they had to win in order to secure the League title. Thirsk started brightly with Toby, Oliver and Sam all pressing the Bradford defence. Sam set Harry C away but he was unable to get his return pass away as the very good Bradford goalkeeper closed him down. Harry G in the sweeper role kept Bradford’s attack well away from our defensive circle, and his pass to Oliver set him away down the right, Oliver drew the goalkeeper before laying off to Toby to open the scoring, 1-0 to Thirsk. Thirsk did not have it all their own way at all, Luke made a fine sliding save. Then Bradford were awarded a penalty corner, Arthur sprinted out , the attacker dumied him, then shot, beating Luke in the goal, but not Harry G on the line, and Thirsk cleared away. Thirsk attacked themselves and should have wrapped it up but for another fine save. The game was tense to the end, but Thirsk held out for a 1-0 win.
Final League table: Thirsk 10 points, Hull 9 pts, Harrogate 6pts, Bradford 4 pts and Ben Rhydding 2 pts.
On 11th March Thirsk U10’s B team met on a glorious spring day to play in Division 3 at Leeds. The team were: Dan Garlick (goal keeper), Tom Molyneux (mid field), William Molyneux (right wing), Sebastian Graham (left wing), Oscar Benoit (centre forward), Fred Hunt (right back), Arthur Webster Jones (left back) & Oona Webster Jones (substitute).
The scores:
Thirsk U10 B v York B 0-3
Thirsk U 10 B v Wakefield 0-2
Thirsk U 10 B v Doncaster 2-1
Thirsk U10 B v Chapeltown 2-1
THIRSK v YORK B
Thirsk started well in the first match against York B, with most of the play in the opposition D. There was some great play and positioning between Will, Oscar & Seb and a number of near misses, but luck was not on the side of Thirsk in this match. York broke in the closing few minutes of the game and scored 2 goals against the main flow of the game.
THIRSK v WAKEFIELD
The next match started slowly with Wakefield showing their superiority from the start. Valiant defence from Fred, Arthur and Thomas wasn’t a match for the opposition. Dan made a couple of good saves but the defence was unable to keep them all out. With Arthur taking an injury, we must thank his sister, Oona for taking over at the back.
THIRSK v DONCASTER
After two losses Thirsk’s confidence was down and Doncaster took the opportunity to take an early goal. However, the boys showed courage and with Fred making an outstanding save they built well from the back, taking the play into Doncaster’s D. Perseverance prevailed and with great supporting play from his team Oscar scored two goals in quick succession to put Thirsk in the lead.
THIRSK v CHAPELTOWN
Buoyed by the last win, Thirsk attacked from the off in the final game and Sebastian scored the first goal within the first 5 minutes with Oscar following suit a few minutes later. Thirsk held the play for the rest of the match with Tom and Arthur playing brilliantly in midfield. Legs were getting tired and in the closing minutes of play Chapeltown broke to score one back but it wasn’t enough and Thirsk held the lead.
All in all the team played fantastically well and have grown so much over the season, with much thanks owed to Patrick’s coaching. I would also like to thank Sally Hunt for taking on the Umpires roll yet again.
Thirsk’s U10A Boys’ team were in a sunny Leeds on the afternoon of Sun 11th March for the last set of U10 YYHL games of this season. The squad consisted of Ollie Dale (Goalie), George Hunt, Archie Lawson, Ben Collinson, Flyn Mullins, Henry Houseman, Sam Nichols and Guy Wilson who was making his debut in the YYHL competition.
THIRSK vs LEEDS:
Thirsk’s first match was against Leeds and from the start, Thirsk dominated, with centre forward Ben scoring twice within a few minutes of starting the game; this was largely due to Henry’s stirling work down the left wing and expert crosses into the D to set Ben up. Flyn was unlucky to have his attempt at goal deflected early on, after a superb drive down the right-wing, leading to a powerful diagonal shot. The Leeds goalie worked hard to keep a number of Flyn’s and Ben’s shots out of the goal however eventually, perseverance from Thirsk, in particular Sam and Henry keeping their cool within Leeds’ D, resulted in Sam getting Thirsk’s third. Leeds then managed to pull together some attacking play, with ventures into Thirsk’s D area, however, Archie and George worked well together to ensure that Ollie had a very quiet game. After one particular phase of play where Thirsk’s defence had been under attack from Leeds, George skilfully got the ball to Archie who then took it into midfield for a clever pass to Ben which resulted in Thirsk’s 4th goal of the game. Thirsk’s final goal of the game came from a well worked penalty corner where Ben got his 4th goal of the game leaving the result Thirsk 5 Leeds 0.
THIRSK vs DRIFFIELD:
Fresh from their victory over Leeds, Guy came on to look after the left-wing, in place of Henry, and immediately struck up an effective partnership with centre-forward Ben. Sam and Archie controlled the midfield and a careful pass from Archie to Flyn down the right enabled Flyn to hit a strong diagonal across into Driffield’s goal. Guy worked tirelessly to control the left-wing and left-corner of the pitch, feeding a number of balls into the D for Ben and Flyn to try and covert into goals. Eventually, Guy’s passes paid off, where a well-worked pass to Flyn enabled Flyn to score Thirsk’s 1st goal. Thirsk’s 2nd goal came from a similar action where this time Sam won the ball and passed from the right for Ben to make it 2-0 to Thirsk. Driffield’s goalie made a number of outstanding saves, one in particular stopped the ball between the goalie’s feet and because of its proximity to the back line, required closer umpire inspection to determine if a goal had been scored; in the end a penalty corner was awarded to Thirsk. After a period of closely fought midfield play, Guy was able to get a cross across from the left to Archie who struck from the top of the D to make it Thirsk 3 Driffield 0. Thirsk thought they may have sneaked a 4th goal with a daring shot by Flyn but unfortunately it just went wide. Final score Thirsk 3 Driffield 0.
THIRSK vs SHEFFIELD:
Henry came back on to replace Sam who had run his socks off in midfield in the previous matches. Due to the heat, the Thirsk boys initially started very slowly which caused problems for Thirsk’s defence and resulted in Ollie, George and Archie spending early periods of the game under intense pressure. Eventually, Thirsk stepped up a gear and managed to pull together some good periods of attacking play with Flyn crossing from the right to find Ben who then got Thirsk’s 1st goal. This game saw how effective Guy and Ben’s attacking partnership was and Guy’s pass to Ben resulted in Ben hitting just wide. Flyn made a superb strike which was saved by the Sheffield goalie. Again, Archie and Henry controlled the midfield and Thirsk’s 2nd goal came from Archie winning the ball, crossing it into the D for Guy to score Thirsk’s 2nd goal. For a time Thirsk were under sustained attack which required the forwards to come back and assist George, Archie and Ollie, with Ollie making some good saves. However, just when it seemed Sheffield would get a goal, a clever interception and onward pass from George, enabled Archie to take the ball from Thirsk’s defence up to Sheffield’s half and following some passing between Guy and Flyn, resulted in Flyn getting the ball into Sheffield’s goal. The final score was Thirsk 3 Sheffield 0 with all the boys being commended for their work rate and for the mid-field and forward players, running back to help defend Thirsk’s goal.
THIRSK vs ROTHERHAM:
This being the last match of the day, and one which would decide whether Rotherham or Thirsk would be league champions, the boys knew this would be challenging. Henry was given specific responsibility for closely marking out of the game Rotherham’s leading forward, a job that he did to perfection and which diminished Rotherham’s ability to completely dominate the midfield. To enable Henry to do this, Archie pushed back into the Sweeper role, with George standing by on the side-line if needed. Thirsk managed to take the game to Rotherham and Ben worked an unbelievable strike at the Rotherham goal which lead to Thirsk’s 1st goal. Literally 60 seconds later, Ben found the net again to get Thirsk’s 2nd goal. By this time, Henry was starting to fatigue due to the amount of running he had done so he came off, George came back on as sweeper and Archie took on the dedicated man-marking role. Unfortunately, the Thirsk boys were starting to run out of steam, which Rotherham capitalised upon and despite Ollie’s valiant efforts found the net. A period of intense pressure had all of Thirsk’s supporters’ adrenaline running, but the boys continued to work well as a team and all helped out in defence to thwart the Rotherham attack. Eventually Archie’s level head and quick thinking enabled him to get the ball out into midfield, catching Rotherham’s players off guard leaving a near open goal for Flyn to get Thirsk’s 3rd and final goal. Final score Thirsk 3 Rotherham 1.
The boys’ achievements of finishing as Division Champions were a tremendous result, given the heat on the day and some very strong opposition. It was generally a quiet day for goalie Ollie, but for all the right reasons as Thirsk’s midfield was very strong. The boys all worked tirelessly and selflessly for each other and were the embodiment of excellent team work as demonstrated by their actions before the last game where they raised their sticks together and chanted “all for one and one for all”. Well done boys, we are all very proud of you! Overall Man of the afternoon: Archie Lawson.
L – R: Flyn Mullins, Archie Lawson, Sam Nichols, Ollie Dale, Henry Houseman, Ben Collinson, George Hunt, Guy Wilson
Sunday 11th march saw the Thirsk under 10 girls A team compete in their last league tournament of the season. The first match was against a tough York A squad and despite a great performance the girls lost the game 2-0. Fantastic saves and clearances by goal keeper Gabby Bell kept the low score line and prevented Thirsk conceding another goal. The girls’ second match against Sheffield also proved a tough game and despite all working hard, unfortunately lost by 1-0. Bella Chapman made some excellent challenges and passes to help create several opportunities for Thirsk though a strong Sheffield defence prevented the girls from scoring. A 3-0 victory in the third match Vs Ben Rhydding B helped to lift the team’s spirits and confidence. The girls linked up well with great passing helping to secure the three goals. Bethnee Goodall scored two goals, both shots superbly slotted into the corners of the goal, beyond reach of the goal keeper and centre midfielder Emily Cowell took the third after battling hard to win the ball from the opposition. The penultimate game against Driffield began with an excellent start with Emily Cowell scoring within the first minute. Great tackling and passing by Sadie Bosomworth helped keep the ball in the Driffield D and Bethnee finished two more goals to bring the score line up to 3-0. The final match was against a strong Rotherham team and proved a tough challenge for Thirsk. Despite the warm weather great defensive work by Oona Webster-Jones and Evie Benoit helped keep the ball out of the defensive D. Rotherham managed to score an early goal but Thirsk kept their heads up and kept pushing forward to allow Emily to knock the ball into the back of the Rotherham goal, bringing the score up to 1-1. All the girls played excellently and worked very well as team. More could not have been asked from them and it was a very positive end to a successful year. A big thank you must go to all the girls for their efforts and also to all the parents for their constant support throughout the season.
Having had three consecutive cancellations due to the weather, Thirsk under 10 Brumbies arrived in Leeds full of anticipation and excitement this being their first time out as a squad in the Yorkshire Youth League. Due to a non arrival and a subsequent reshuffle in the fixture list Thirsk went straight into action against York B.
York B 0 – 1 Thirsk Brumbies
From the start Thirsk were dominant and gave York B very little time on the ball. Jamie Irvine was solid in defence and the central midfield play from Maria Toone and Holly Pearson ensured plenty of opportunities were being fed into the D. This tactic played off when a long ball was hit into the D by Holly Pearson and after a clash of sticks Elizabeth Chapman hit home a sound goal. Thirsk continued to dominate until a late York break in the game which resulted in a fantastic last minute save by the Brumbies goal keeper Olivia Barber. Shortly afterwards the final whistle blew and Thirsk Brumbies enjoyed their first competitive victory.
Wakefield C 0 – 2 Thirsk Brumbies
From the start Thirsk were riding high on confidence from the previous game. They immediately put pressure on the Wakefield defence with some great passes from the wing by Elizabeth Chapman and Rebecca Webster. After only a few minutes the ball crossed the Wakefield goal line only to be disallowed due to an infringement in the D. Thirsk were unperturbed, and continued to dominate. Soon afterwards a great ball from midfield by Olivia Docherty met Rebecca Webster who pushed the ball onto Jamie Irvine who tapped the ball neatly to the left of the Wakefield Keeper. Wakefield came back strong initially but were kept well at bay by the strong defence of Holly Pearson and Sophie Boero. Three minutes from time a tidy pass from Maria Toone into the D met Marie Louise who coolly put the ball past the Wakefield keeper.
Slazenger B 0 – 4 Thirsk Brumbies
Thirsk Brumbies were now riding high and dominated the game from the off allowing Slazenger B very little time on the ball. Within a few minutes a tidy ball from Rebecca Webster met Marie Louise who pushed the ball into the net. Thirsk continued to dominate and within a few minutes a great interception from Olivia Docherty met Elizabeth Chapman who played the ball neatly into the path of Marie Louise who calmly took her second goal of the game. At this point Thirsk were in total control with the Thirsk defence and keeper having little to do. Following a great ball into the D by Marie Toone the ball was met and pushed across the line by Rebecca Webster. To finish the game a neat piece of play starting with a great clearance by Holly Pearson fell into the path of Elizabeth Chapman who took the ball forward and pushed the ball to the left of the Slazanger B keeper.
Huddersfield Dragons 0 – 1 Thirsk Brumbies
Last game of the day and although the Brumbie’s had already earned promotion the girls were determined to finish on a high. They came up against a determined Huddersfield side and in the early stages both Sophie Boreo and Holly Pearson made important defensive tackles to close off potential attacks on goal. The game remained tight although after a few minutes Thirsk did begin to dominate and in the ninth minute a clear through ball from Olivia Docherty met Maria Toone who passed to Marie Louise whose shot was cleared by the Huddersfield keeper only to fall into the path of Elizabeth Chapman who quickly returned with a fine shot that sneaked past their keeper to put Thirsk into a deserved lead. Huddersfield then attempted to come forward but were always held at bay by the Brumbie defence and some good clearances out of the D by Olivia Barber the Brumbie Keeper.
Thirsk Brumbie’s finished with the maximum 12 points having scored a total of 8 goals and Olivia Barber can be rightly proud of keeping a clean sheet all day. They earned promotion into Division C as comfortable division D champions.
On Sunday 4th March, the U14 girls played well despite the terrible weather, tough yorkshire girls ! 1st game against Brigg they had all the play and Thirsk goalkeeper never touching the ball, nice strong midfield from Frances & Holly and good attacking play won 4-0, hat-trick to new comer Isabella Armitage.
2nd game against Wakefield 1, 2nd in league, was an end to end contest, both teams playing well and good movement on and off the ball throughout, Thirsk unlucky to loose 2-1 in the final minute. The third game Huddersfield Dragons, Thirsk again with all the play, using their width well and good runs down the wing from Georgina Watkiss, pushing forward confidently and crossing effectively into attacking circle. Both wing players helping to widen the goals with great positioning on the posts. Producing a convincing 5 – 0 win.
All girls playing fantastically never stopping and playing together well as a team. Hopefully this will get them through to the playoffs in April.
