A break down the wing and cross caught our defence out, and left them to equalize with a simple tap in at the back post. The 1-1 scoreline was a good result.

Halifax were the next opponents, and Amelia Crouch on the left helped to build the play that led to an early penalty corner. Charlotte was again on hand with another unstoppable strike, 1-0. Thirsk pressed on Amy shooting wide, Annabel missing, when scoring seemed inevitable, and Lucy having a shot saved. Amy got her reward eventually as she easily netted from Charlotte’s cross. A good 2-0 win.
The final game with Harrogate was one we had to win to get promotion to Division A. Thirsk started well, and Amy had a good shot saved. Somehow Thirsk let their concentration slip, and a break down the wing and a quick cross led to Harrogate taking the lead. Thirsk pushed forward and Harrogate goalkeeper was forced into two more fine saves. But it was Harrogate who finished strongest, getting a well struck second, before been denied by a brave save from Laura. Final score 2-0 to Harrogate.
